 the Geneva Health Forum Call and GHF Academy


The Geneva Health Forum , co-organized by the University of Geneva and the Geneva University Hospitals, is the forum of innovative practices in global health. Its aim to showcase innovative, accessible and sustainable practices in order to facilitate access and health equity; and to be a not-to-be-missed international event where the major health issues, fed by field experiences, are challenged. The GHF promotes dynamic networking and partnership among various parties active in global health.

The call for contributions of the Geneva Health Forum is open from 15 June to 15 September 2019.

The theme of this edition is "Improving access to health: learning from the field": Faced with the new challenges of global health, the goal is to explore innovations that improve the learning and implementation cycles to best adapt practices and improve access to health.

For the 2020 edition the GHF will organize for the first time the GHF Academy highlights the innovative approaches of experts in Global Health at an international level and offers training to researchers in targeted subjects during the pre-conference day. Around 60 post-graduate researchers from all healthcare sectors (medical doctors, biologists, nurses, midwives, pharmacists) are invited to represent their Universities of all over the world.
